ERMO482 - Analogue Microwave, up to 200m range
The ERMO482 is an analogue, bi-static microwave detector for external applications. It comprises a transmitter and receiver which, when mounted facing each other, create a protection zone, the dimensions of which vary according to the chosen antenna, the distance between the two units and the selected system sensitivity.
The ERMO482 is available with different ranges which are:
- ERMO482-50 - 50 metre range
- ERMO482-80 - 80 metre range
- ERMO482-120 - 120 metre range
- ERMO482-200 - 200 metre range
The ERMO482-50 uses a 100 mm diameter parabolic antenna which allows the creation of a wide detection zone even over a short distance. This characteristic makes the ERMO 482-50 particularly suited for the protection of wide access points in external perimeters.
The ERMO482 80/120/200 models use a parabolic antenna with a very small transmission angle. The resultant detection field is therefore restricted in width.
This allows the use of these models in external applications where available space is extremely limited.

The barriers have a 4 channel coding system to prevent interference and simplify any overlap requirements.
Each barrier includes a battery charging facility and the housing has sufficient space to accommodate a 1.9 Ah 12V rechargeable battery. The ERMO482 barrier is manufactured to CEI standards and is certified to IMQ Alarm Level III. It is also the type approved by most European National Radio Regulatory departments.
The ERMO 482 microwave barrier is a very cost effective solution to long, straight, flat perimeters and this product is used externally in prisons throughout Europe, together with military, industrial and residential applications.
